Manz AG to supply battery technology to InoBat Auto in Slovakia
German technology firm Manz AG has secured a significant order from Slovakian battery manufacturer InoBat Auto. The contract covers equipment for a research and development center and a pilot production line for lithium-ion battery cells.
German technology company Manz AG has received a significant order from Slovakian battery maker InoBat Auto. The contract includes the delivery of equipment for InoBat's planned research and development center and pilot production line focused on lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing.
The order aims to support InoBat's ambition to develop and produce advanced batteries for European automotive manufacturers. Manz AG specializes in the development of production systems and process technology, particularly in the solar and battery sectors.
The InoBat R&D center and pilot line will be established near Žilina, Slovakia. This project is part of a broader European Union-supported initiative to create a new European battery cluster.
Manz AG CEO Martin Drasch stated that this order reinforces the company's position in the battery technology market. The agreement also encompasses potential future expansions and collaboration in InoBat's product development.
