Marco Pointner Appointed Tourism Director in Saalfelden Leogang
Marco Pointner has taken on the role of Tourism Director for Saalfelden Leogang Touristik GmbH as of October 1. Pointner brings over a decade of experience in tourism and marketing.

Marco Pointner began his tenure as the new Tourism Director for Saalfelden Leogang Touristik GmbH on October 1, 2015. In his new position, Pointner will oversee the strategic direction and promotional efforts for the region's tourism sector.
Pointner, 32, possesses extensive experience within the tourism industry. He previously spent eight years in marketing roles at Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG before moving to Zell am See-Kaprun Tourismus GmbH, where he served as head of marketing and was appointed as a procurator. His career spans nearly twelve years in tourism, event, and sports marketing.
Academically, Pointner completed specialized studies in Marketing Management at the University of St. Gallen and recently concluded a Master's program at Danube University in Krems. He has also participated in numerous seminars and leadership training programs.
