Mark Chambers joins Institute of Business Ethics as Associate Director
The Institute of Business Ethics has appointed Mark Chambers as its new Associate Director for Governance. Chambers brings extensive experience in corporate governance and legal affairs from his previous role at HSBC.

The Institute of Business Ethics (IBE) announced on September 4, 2019, the appointment of Mark Chambers as its Associate Director, Governance. Chambers began his role on September 2nd, bringing a wealth of experience from his former position as Deputy Group Company Secretary at HSBC.
Established in 1986, the IBE is dedicated to promoting high standards of business conduct based on ethical values. The organization offers practical guidance to individuals involved in developing and advancing business ethics, including senior business leaders, policymakers, and regulators.
Philippa Foster Back CBE, Director of the IBE, highlighted the significance of Chambers' arrival amidst ongoing public discourse on corporate purpose and culture. "I am looking forward to working with Mark, as his knowledge and experience will help us prompt valuable and practical discussions around how directors can promote ethical cultures within their organisations," Foster Back stated.
