Marksman ST-2 Simulator Installed at The Gun Shop
Marksman Training Systems' ST-2 shooting simulator has been installed at The Gun Shop in Botley. The system aims to replicate realistic shooting scenarios.

Marksman Training Systems’ ST-2 shooting simulator is now operational at The Gun Shop in Botley, Hampshire. The system comprises a projector, a large screen, and a series of sensors attached to a firearm, all managed by a dedicated computer.
Setup for the simulator is swift, involving the attachment of camera and trigger sensors to the firearm, input of measurement data into the system, and a brief calibration shot. Users can utilize their own firearms or a provided practice gun.
The simulator allows users to practice engaging various targets, including clay pigeons, as well as game birds such as grouse and duck. Initial user feedback indicates that the trigger pull may require some adjustment due to its limited travel.
Marksman ST-2 simulators are uncommon, with only a limited number available nationwide. An early trial at The Gun Shop provided an opportunity to assess the system's realism prior to its wider public availability.
