Mars Impact Fund Commits $1M for Earthquake Relief in Venezuela

Mars, Incorporated announced on July 10, 2026, that its Mars Impact Fund has committed $1 million to support communities in Venezuela affected by significant earthquakes.

The grant to World Central Kitchen (WCK) is intended to facilitate the provision of over 200,000 meals to those impacted by the disaster. This financial aid aligns with Mars' broader initiatives, which include food donations to local organizations and support for Venezuelan Associates based in Southern Brazil whose families have been affected.

Mars and WCK have partnered since 2022 on disaster relief efforts, with WCK having provided over 600 million meals globally. In Venezuela, WCK has served nearly 500,000 meals in Miranda, La Guaira, and Carabobo states, collaborating with local restaurants.

Additional relief efforts from Mars include over five tons of food products donated by Mars South America businesses. The company is also supporting the deployment of canine search-and-rescue teams from Argentina and Mexico, with funding from the Royal Canin Foundation. Mars is also contributing to the operational support of the Los Angeles Task Force 2 Urban Search and Rescue team.
