Mary Hynes Selected for Nevada Newspaper Hall of Fame
Las Vegas Review-Journal investigative reporter Mary Hynes has been inducted into the Nevada Newspaper Hall of Fame, recognizing over three decades of work in journalism.

Mary Hynes, an investigative reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, has been selected for induction into the Nevada Newspaper Hall of Fame. The honor recognizes her more than three decades of service as a journalist, editor, and newsroom leader.
Hynes has had a long career with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, covering a wide range of subjects in Nevada. She is particularly noted for her in-depth investigative reporting.
Also named to the 2026 class of the Hall of Fame are two former Review-Journal employees: former columnist Ron Kantowski and former reporter Howard Stutz.
The induction into the Nevada Newspaper Hall of Fame represents a significant acknowledgment of the contributions made by Hynes and the other new members to journalism in the state.
