Maserati MC12 Stradale to Headline Broad Arrow Auctions Monterey Event
Broad Arrow Auctions, a Hagerty subsidiary, will offer a rare 2005 Maserati MC12 Stradale at its Monterey Jet Center sale on August 13-14, with estimates reaching up to $5.5 million.

Broad Arrow Auctions has finalized the catalog for its upcoming Monterey Jet Center event, scheduled for August 13-14. The sale features 170 lots, highlighted by a 2005 Maserati MC12 Stradale. This vehicle, one of 50 road-going versions produced to satisfy FIA GT1 homologation requirements, is expected to fetch between $4.8 million and $5.5 million.
Alexander Weaver, Senior Car Specialist at Broad Arrow, noted that the vehicle recently underwent comprehensive service. The MC12 was manufactured to re-establish the Maserati brand in international competition and is built on a chassis derived from the Ferrari Enzo, though it features distinct aerodynamic bodywork and a removable roof.
Beyond the Maserati, the auction includes other high-value inventory such as a 2008 Koenigsegg CCXR, a 2018 Bugatti Chiron, and a low-mileage 1991 Ferrari F40. According to Barney Ruprecht, Vice President of Auctions, the firm is targeting younger collectors who prioritize performance and vehicle provenance in the current market.
The Monterey event serves as a flagship auction for the firm, aiming to attract interest across segments ranging from mid-century classics to modern performance supercars.
