Massanutten Resort Updates Brand Identity and Digital Platform
Virginia’s Massanutten Resort has launched a redesigned website and updated brand identity to emphasize its transition into a year-round destination. The move coincides with significant property infrastructure expansions.

Massanutten Resort, a 6,000-acre property in Virginia, has introduced a refreshed brand identity and a new website to reflect its evolution beyond its origins as a ski facility. Established in 1973, the resort now aims to highlight its year-round offerings through a revamped digital interface that features personalized itinerary planning and seasonal navigation.
According to general manager Michael Hammes, the rebranding efforts align with ongoing investments across the property. Recent additions to the resort include an alpine coaster and a pickleball complex, with further expansions planned to increase ski terrain availability. The resort’s visual identity shift replaces previous branding with a geometric design intended to symbolize the four seasons.
Looking toward 2027, the company expects to finalize the construction of a 25,000-square-foot indoor waterpark expansion, accompanied by a new 140-room hotel. These infrastructure projects are intended to increase the resort's capacity as a regional travel destination. To promote the launch, the company has introduced a temporary ski promotion for the upcoming winter season.
