Masters' Union Granted University Status by Haryana Government

Masters' Union, a higher education institution based in Gurugram, has been granted full university status by the Haryana state government. The institution can now operate under the name Masters' Union University.

The Haryana Legislative Assembly passed the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2026, officially conferring university status upon the six-year-old establishment. Masters' Union intends to expand its academic offerings, with plans to establish new departments in Law, Medicine, Agriculture, and Biotechnology. The university also aims to launch PhD programs and create new educational pathways.

The institution is also set to expand its physical campus in Gurugram. A 5.14-acre site has been allocated for new facilities, which will include accelerator hubs, maker labs, and research infrastructure, alongside residential, cultural, and sporting amenities. Founder Pratham Mittal stated that this recognition validates the institution's model of entrepreneurship-focused and practitioner-led education.

Founded in 2020, Masters' Union offers programs in management, technology, and engineering. Its faculty comprises investors, founders, and industry leaders. The university has supported over 80 student startups since its inception, with several securing significant funding and achieving substantial revenue.
