Materna Expands Supervisory Board to Ensure Sustainable Growth

IT service provider Materna has expanded its supervisory board with three new members. The appointments aim to strengthen the company's expertise and ensure its long-term growth and stability.

Dortmund – German IT service provider Materna-Gruppe has expanded its supervisory board by appointing three new members: Nicole Materna, Lennart an de Meulen, and Maria Brandt. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to secure sustainable long-term growth and stability.

The supervisory board will now comprise six members, enhancing its expertise and operational capacity. Nicole Materna, a shareholder, brings over 15 years of experience with the company and its workforce, focusing on employer branding. Lennart an de Meulen, also a shareholder, is an experienced business consultant with expertise in project management and IT consulting, contributing knowledge in mergers & acquisitions and internationalization.

Maria Brandt, a graduate in computer science, has a 28-year career at Materna, working as a consultant in the public sector division and specializing in the ATLAS customs system. She also serves as a works council member. These appointments are intended to support Materna's focus on continuity and professional development.

Founding shareholders and board members Dr. Winfried Materna (Chairman) and Helmut an de Meulen (Vice-Chairman) welcomed the new members. They stated that the enlarged board is optimally positioned to drive the group's partnership-oriented, results-driven, and sustainable development. CEO Martin Wibbe highlighted the valuable input expected from the new supervisory board members to support the company's growth strategy.
