IT service provider Materna Group has announced its strategic growth plan, dubbed "Mission 2025," with the objective of doubling both its revenue and workforce within the next five years. This expansion aims to strengthen its position in the core German market while also growing internationally across Europe, the USA, and Asia.

CEO Martin Wibbe stated that significant investments will be channeled into portfolio expansion, acquisitions, and employee development. A central element of this strategy is the newly developed "Journey2Cloud™" offering, designed to guide clients independently through their IT architecture transformations towards cloud-based solutions.

The "Journey2Cloud™" service provides consultancy and support for organizations to analyze, classify, and migrate their existing application landscapes to future-proof, standard-based IT architectures. This approach enables the realization of innovative digital business models and cost-optimized operation of proprietary applications.

Materna Group reported a record year in 2020, with revenues reaching 355.1 million euros and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increasing by over 30 percent. The company currently employs over 2,500 individuals, with 90 percent based in Germany. The growth strategy includes active pursuit of acquisitions aligned with the group's nine strategic focus areas.

These focus areas encompass digital administration, Enterprise Service Management, the aviation industry's "Passenger Journey," cloud transformations, SAP solutions, cybersecurity, digital content production, sustainability, and the data economy. The company aims to advance its ranking among Germany's leading mid-sized IT service providers.
