Materna Group Reports 6.4 Percent Sales Growth for 2024
IT services provider Materna Group increased its revenue by 6.4 percent to 712 million euros in the 2024 financial year. The company reported 13 percent organic growth.

The IT group Materna, specializing in IT consulting and digitalization projects, generated a turnover of 712 million euros in the 2024 financial year, a 6.4 percent increase compared to the previous year. The company reported an organic growth rate of 13 percent. Materna also completed the sale of its subsidiary Materna IPS GmbH and its airport business last year, which it states sharpens its strategic focus on promising growth areas.
Michael Hagedorn, CEO of Materna Group, commented that the company is achieving sustainable growth even under challenging market conditions. Materna is focusing on innovation, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), to further expand its market position. The company aims to reach a turnover of one billion euros by 2027 and strengthen its market-leading role by supporting companies and public authorities in strategically utilizing AI and integrating it into their processes.
Materna's approach to digital transformation is built on four strategic dimensions: platform-based transformation, human x digital, artificial intelligence, and business resilience. By integrating these dimensions, Materna offers customized solutions designed to improve process efficiency, create sustainable competitive advantages, and foster innovation.
The company is actively pursuing its AI initiatives, including a strategic partnership with NVIDIA. This collaboration leverages NVIDIA's AI and GPU technologies to develop modern solutions for businesses and public administration. The Public Sector division saw growth of 8.1 percent, reaching 227 million euros in turnover, with AI intended to further enhance administrative processes. An example project, Forest Planning 4.0, utilizes AI to map and monitor forest conditions for sustainable management.
