Matic and Catalyst Health Group named finalists for healthcare collaboration award
Matic and Catalyst Health Group are finalists for a D CEO magazine award, recognizing their efforts to reduce physician administrative burdens through clinical intelligence.

Matic and Catalyst Health Group have been selected as finalists for the "Outstanding Healthcare Collaboration" category in the 2026 Excellence in Healthcare Awards, presented by D CEO magazine. The winners are scheduled to be announced on December 10, 2026.
The collaboration centers on the deployment of Matic’s clinical intelligence platform within the Catalyst Health Group network, which includes more than 850 physicians. The system is designed to integrate into clinical workflows to automate documentation and administrative tasks, aiming to reduce the burnout associated with high administrative volume.
Primary care physicians currently spend an average of over 20 hours per week on administrative work. Dr. Christopher Crow, CEO of Catalyst Health Group, stated that the partnership addresses documentation challenges as a design flaw rather than an inherent aspect of medical practice. Participating physicians have reported increased efficiency in managing patient charts and reduced after-hours work.
The development process involved close collaboration between Matic’s technical staff and Catalyst’s clinical team, allowing for real-time iterative improvements within active clinics. This approach aimed to ensure the technology adapted to the practical realities of the exam room rather than imposing a standardized, disconnected solution.
