Matkahuolto has announced adjustments to its bus schedules and customer service operations for the upcoming midsummer holiday, celebrated on June 21-22, 2024. Both midsummer eve and midsummer day will bring changes to bus timetables and the availability of customer service.
Passengers are urged to verify all schedule details, including holiday exceptions, through Matkahuolto's website at www.matkahuolto.fi, the company's 'Travel and Tickets' app, or by calling the service number 0200 4000. Purchasing bus tickets in advance online or via the app is recommended to streamline boarding.
The 24/7 customer service line for travel information at 0200 4000 will remain operational throughout the midsummer period. However, the feedback and claims number for travel services (020 331 222) and the customer service channel within the travel app will be closed on midsummer eve and day.
Services related to package deliveries will also see modifications. The consumer helpline for package services (0600 11300), the package app's chat function, and the feedback/claims number for package services will be closed during the holiday. Matkahuolto's own service points will be closed for the entire midsummer weekend. Nevertheless, most of Matkahuolto's parcel pick-up points, such as K-stores, R-kiosks, and parcel lockers, will maintain their regular opening hours.
