Matkahuolto has issued an announcement regarding changes to its bus schedules and customer service hours for the Midsummer holiday in 2025. The Midsummer weekend, taking place on June 20-21, will introduce alterations to the company's bus timetables.
Passengers are advised to check the revised bus schedules in advance. Purchasing tickets online through Matkahuolto's website or mobile application is recommended to secure a seat and ensure a smooth boarding process.
Most Matkahuolto service points and parcel lockers will remain operational during the Midsummer holiday, with specific opening hours available through the service point locator. However, the customer feedback and claims number for travel services, as well as the customer service channel for the Routes and Tickets mobile app, will be closed on Midsummer's Eve and Midsummer Day.
The round-the-clock service number for travel services (0200 4000) will continue to operate normally throughout the holiday. Customer service for parcel services, including its chat function, will be closed. The company also referenced previous advisories concerning new parcel arrival notification channels and ongoing phishing scams.
