Mattamy Asset Management Appoints Eric Becker to Board of Directors

Mattamy Asset Management, the parent company of Mattamy Homes, has added Eric Becker to its board of directors. Becker, the founder and co-chairman of the multi-family office Cresset, brings experience in business development and long-term capital allocation to the privately held firm.

Prior to his role at Cresset, Becker co-founded the private equity firm Sterling Partners and has been involved in the growth of multiple entities across the real estate and healthcare technology sectors. According to CEO Peter Gilgan, the appointment is intended to support the firm’s focus on sustainable, multi-generational business growth.

Mattamy Asset Management established an external board of directors in 2010 to strengthen its corporate governance. Becker joins current board members Kathleen Taylor, Carol Stephenson, David Williams, and Tim Hockey, all of whom hold significant experience in international business and financial oversight.
