Mattias Johansson to become Bravida's new CEO

Bravida's Board of Directors has appointed Mattias Johansson, currently division manager for Bravida Norway, as the company's new CEO and Group President. The appointment takes effect on January 1, 2015. Current CEO Staffan Påhlsson, who has served the company for 30 years, will retire on that date. Påhlsson will continue in a Senior Vice President role to support strategic initiatives.

Johansson has been with Bravida since 1998 and has led Bravida Norway since January 2013. During his tenure, he significantly increased sales and profitability for the division and successfully managed the acquisition of Otera Elektro. Bravida's Chairman Michael Siefke stated that Johansson combines extensive experience and proven results with strong energy and vision for the future.

"I look forward to taking on the role of CEO in January," said Mattias Johansson. "Under Staffan Påhlsson’s leadership, Bravida has established itself as the Scandinavian market leader with solid profitability. Together with the management team, I will continue to strengthen the company and work towards making Bravida the first choice for customers and employees."

Staffan Påhlsson has been instrumental in Bravida's development over his 30-year tenure. The company expressed gratitude for his leadership and noted that his continued contributions will be valuable. Johansson is expected to drive Bravida's further expansion through investments in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, service offerings, and operational excellence.
