Mauricio Leyva Appointed CEO of 7-Eleven, Inc.
Seven & i Holdings has appointed Mauricio Leyva as the new Chief Executive Officer of 7-Eleven, Inc. He will assume the role on August 1, 2026.

Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. announced the appointment of Mauricio Leyva as the Chief Executive Officer of 7-Eleven, Inc., the company's North American convenience store business. Leyva's appointment is effective August 1, 2026.
In his new role, Leyva will oversee the company's next phase of growth. He is tasked with enhancing the customer experience, strengthening the store network, advancing operational excellence and innovation, and driving sustainable profitable growth in collaboration with the 7-Eleven leadership team.
Leyva brings over two decades of experience in the consumer products industry. He previously served as Group President at Keurig Dr Pepper, where he led the company through a post-merger transformation. During his tenure, Dr Pepper became the second-largest carbonated soft drink brand in the United States. His prior experience also includes senior leadership roles at Lala Mexico, AB InBev, and SABMiller.
