Max Knobloch receives RC2 certification for door side element systems
German company Max Knobloch Nachf. GmbH has obtained RC2 certification for its door side element systems. The Institut für Fenstertechnik Rosenheim conducted tests confirming the systems' burglary resistance.

German manufacturer Max Knobloch Nachf. GmbH has secured RC2 certification for several series of its door side element systems. The Institut für Fenstertechnik Rosenheim (ift Rosenheim) conducted the tests to confirm the systems' resilience against burglary attempts.
The RC2 classification, derived from "resistance class," indicates the time and effort required for a burglar to break through a door system. The standard DIN EN 1627 defines this classification, focusing on delaying intrusion rather than absolute invulnerability.
During the tests, ift Rosenheim assessed the ability of Max Knobloch's door side element systems to withstand forced entry. The test results demonstrate that the systems offer sufficient resistance, making it more likely for a burglar to seek easier targets. This certification is significant for construction projects where enhanced security is a priority.
Max Knobloch has a long-standing presence in the industry, recognized for producing high-quality mailbox and door systems. The RC2 certification reinforces the company's commitment to product development and adherence to security standards.
