Max Verstappen to Race 100 Karts Simultaneously at Silverstone

Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen is set to participate in an unusual karting race at Silverstone Circuit in England later today. The event pits Verstappen against 100 other drivers, comprising a mix of content creators and Red Bull athletes.

The race format requires Verstappen to start last, with 30 laps to overtake all 100 competitors and secure a win. All karting vehicles used in the competition are identical and have been sourced from Eastern Europe. Verstappen's objective is to emerge victorious by passing every other driver on the track.

This is not the first instance of Formula 1 drivers undertaking similar challenges. Alex Albon previously raced against 25 children last year, and Oliver Bearman competed against 50 amateurs just last month. However, Verstappen's challenge is notably larger in scale and competitive field than these prior events.

The race is scheduled to commence today at 5:00 PM BST (12:00 PM ET). It features one of the sport's most recognized figures, known for his broad enthusiasm for motorsport.
