Maxon Announces Winners for 3D "Infinite Journeys" Creative Challenge

Maxon, a developer of creative tools for visual effects, has revealed the winners of its "Infinite Journeys" creative challenge hosted by 3D artist Clinton Jones, also known as PWNISHER. The online competition garnered over 2,000 entries from 3D artists globally.

The challenge tasked artists with creating custom 3D scenes based on the theme "infinite journeys" and required the inclusion of a moving vehicle. Over 2,400 artists contributed to the collective effort, producing nearly three hours of animated content compiled from their individual submissions.

Kris Theorin and Euan Morrison were among the top winners recognized for their work. Their creations were selected from the top 100 entries that were merged into a collaborative montage. Prizes were provided by competition sponsors, including Rokoko, Camp Mograph, and Wacom.

Maxon's software, such as Cinema 4D and Redshift, played a significant role in the artists' workflows. The challenge served as a platform for artists to refine their skills, experiment with new software features like Redshift's texturing and lighting, and engage with the broader 3D community.
