Maxon releases 2027.0 software suite updates

Maxon has released its Fall 2026 ecosystem update, introducing the 2027.0 versions of Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Redshift, Red Giant, and Autograph. The update focuses on streamlining production workflows and increasing automation across the company's toolset.

Cinema 4D introduces a new procedural scatter system and enhanced liquid simulation capabilities, which now automatically include secondary effects like foam and spray. For ZBrush users, the release adds a native UV editor to consolidate the sculpting-to-texturing pipeline within a single interface, alongside improved layer management for iPad users.

Redshift features a reworked memory architecture designed to improve interactivity and provide faster render feedback. CEO David McGavran stated the updates are intended to reduce technical bottlenecks, allowing artists to create more complex environments with greater ease. The new versions are currently available to all Maxon subscribers.
