Maxon Releases Cinebench 2026 Performance Benchmark

Maxon has launched Cinebench 2026, its latest version of the industry-standard benchmarking software used to evaluate computer performance. The tool assesses CPU and GPU capabilities through real-world 3D rendering workloads powered by the Redshift rendering engine.

The new release includes compatibility with Nvidia's Blackwell (5000 series) and AMD's 9000 series GPUs on Windows, as well as Nvidia's Hopper and Blackwell data center GPUs. Cinebench 2026 also supports systems equipped with Apple's M4 and M5 chips.

Updated to utilize the latest Redshift technology, Cinebench 2026 aims to provide more accurate performance predictions for Cinema 4D 2026. A new test specifically evaluates the performance gains from SMT-enabled CPU cores. The software runs on Windows (x86-64, ARM64) and macOS.

Maxon advises that scores from Cinebench 2026 are not directly comparable to those from previous versions, such as Cinebench 2024, due to updated scoring methods. The software is available as a free download from the Maxon website.
