Maxon releases Studio interface for Adobe After Effects
Maxon has launched Maxon Studio, a new template-based platform for Adobe After Effects designed to streamline motion graphics and visual effects workflows.
Software developer Maxon has introduced Maxon Studio, a suite of tools available to Red Giant and Maxon One subscribers. Designed as an interface extension for Adobe After Effects, the platform provides users with over 250 pre-built "Capsules"—customizable assets that allow creators to add transitions, titles, and effects without manual layer manipulation.
The tool addresses common friction points in video production by centralizing parameter controls. Instead of navigating timeline layers to adjust complex plug-in settings, users can perform edits through a dedicated window. These assets are resolution-independent, automatically scaling their layout for projects ranging from 720p to 8K.
In addition to the Studio launch, the company updated its Redshift rendering engine to version 3.6.02. The update improves non-photorealistic rendering (NPR) capabilities and enhances volume displacement controls, preventing clipping in complex 3D scenes. The release also adds integration support for Blender 4.0 and 4.1.
Maxon plans to expand the Studio library with new assets on a routine basis to support its subscriber base in high-volume creative production environments.
