Maxon releases updates across its product suite
Software developer Maxon has announced updates to nearly all applications within its Maxon One product offering. The releases introduce new features, enhancements, and compatibility improvements.
Maxon, a developer of professional software solutions for motion designers and visual effects artists, has announced significant updates across its Maxon One product suite. Cinema 4D R25 and Trapcode Suite 17 receive substantial new functionality, while VFX Suite 2 now includes the recently acquired Bang muzzle flare generator. These updates aim to enhance workflow and creative possibilities for users.
The company is also introducing Redshift RT, a new public beta rendering mode that offers near real-time performance while utilizing the same shaders and lights as the standard Redshift engine. This mode is intended to aid artists during the project development phase or for final renders where maximum fidelity is not required.
Several Maxon products, including Magic Bullet 15 and Universe 5, have been updated to support Adobe After Effects' Multi-Frame Rendering (MFR) for improved rendering efficiency. Mac users will also benefit from performance enhancements through Apple Silicon compatibility and Metal Graphics API support in Magic Bullet products.
Maxon states these updates demonstrate a commitment to consistent product development and delivering value to Maxon One subscribers. The updates are immediately available for download via the Maxon App for subscribers of the respective products. The company held a virtual event to showcase the new features to industry professionals.
