Maxon Studio Adds Visual Assets Developed by CandyMustache
Visual asset creator CandyMustache has developed over 250 "Capsules" for Maxon Studio, with more planned for future releases.
Maxon has partnered with visual artist collective CandyMustache to create new assets for its Maxon Studio software. The collaboration has yielded over 250 "Capsules," which are customizable templates and toolkits designed for creating animations and visual effects.
CandyMustache, founded by Apostolos Roussas, has previously worked with clients such as Adobe, Microsoft, and Coca-Cola, specializing in easy-to-use video and motion graphics templates. Roussas indicated that the team is working on a total of 500 Capsules, with the remainder to be released in future updates.
The Maxon Studio Capsules are not pre-made templates but are powered by Red Giant tools, allowing users to browse, select, and fine-tune them without extensive After Effects knowledge. This feature targets visual artists and content creators seeking to streamline their workflows.
Roussas described the creation process for the Capsules as collaborative and creative, involving ideation, research, and close work with Maxon Product Manager Alexandru Mihai Niculin. The team conducted testing and refinements to ensure effectiveness. The initial release includes backgrounds, motion graphics, effects, transitions, and text elements.
