For instance, Maxon's Trapcode Particular plugin enables the creation of intricate 3D particle effects with physics simulations, a feature lacking in Adobe's native tools. The company's King Pin Tracker tool provides a fast and simple method for planar tracking within footage, facilitating tasks like screen or sign replacement.

Maxon has also integrated Boris FX tools, such as Mocha Pro, into its offerings, reinforcing its position as a provider of comprehensive VFX solutions. The company notes that while Red Giant and Boris FX operate on a subscription model, many other independent developers offer perpetual licenses.
