Orthopedic device manufacturer Maxx Orthopedics has expanded its footprint in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The company, which specializes in hip and knee replacement technology, celebrated the move and its 20th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
Founded in 2006, the firm has grown from a local operation in King of Prussia to a global entity serving over 70 markets across the U.S., Latin America, Asia, and Europe. CEO Ashesh Shah stated that maintaining strong local roots has been a core component of the company's long-term business strategy. Local officials noted that the expansion contributes to regional employment and economic development.
The office expansion follows a series of product launches this year, including the Libertas Keystone hip system and new porous titanium components for knee revisions. Maxx Orthopedics continues to supply surgical tools and implants to hospitals and outpatient centers globally.
