Mazda North America Reports Record September Sales
Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) reported total September sales of 34,519 vehicles, a 31.9% increase compared to the previous year. Year-to-date sales declined 2.9%.

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced total sales of 34,519 vehicles for September, marking a 31.9% increase over the same month last year. The company also reported a 26.6% rise in daily sales rate due to one additional selling day compared to September 2025.
Despite the strong September performance, year-to-date sales for MNAO reached 310,268 vehicles, a 2.9% decrease compared to the first nine months of 2025. Sales of certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicles increased by 3.7% in September.
Key model highlights include record September sales for the CX-50 (both internal combustion and hybrid variants), the CX-50 Hybrid specifically, and the CX-90 MHEV. The Mazda3 saw a significant year-over-year increase in September sales.
In Canada, Mazda Canada, Inc. (MCI) reported a 19.3% decrease in September sales, while Mazda Motor de México (MMdM) experienced a 15% increase. Overall year-to-date sales across North America are down 2.9%.
