McAlister’s Deli Offers Free Tea on July 16
McAlister's Deli will celebrate its annual Free Tea Day on July 16, offering customers a complimentary tea at participating locations nationwide.

McAlister's Deli is hosting its annual Free Tea Day on Thursday, July 16, 2026, allowing customers at participating locations nationwide to receive a free tea. This event, which began in 2009, has become a significant tradition for the brand, highlighting its commitment to community connection.
The Free Tea Day initiative is linked to the brand's CommuniTEA Connections program, designed to recognize individuals making a difference in their local communities. Previously, educators, healthcare workers, and first responders were honored with free tea passes, reinforcing the company's belief in building local ties.
"Free Tea Day is our way of saying thank you to our guests, our neighborhoods and the people who make them stronger every day," said Jessica Osborne, Vice President of Marketing at McAlister's Deli. Sharing a glass of tea is presented as a way to foster the sense of connection central to the brand's identity.
The restaurant chain features its proprietary tea blend, brewed with Rainforest Alliance Certified tea leaves. Customers can customize their beverages with various flavor shots and the signature half-and-half combination, offering a personalized tea experience.
For those unable to attend on Free Tea Day itself, McAlister's Rewards members can receive a free beverage with an entrée purchase throughout the weekend of July 17-19. McAlister's Deli operates 570 restaurants across 31 states.
