His arrival coincides with a period of significant expansion for McDermott Will & Schulte, particularly in New York City. The firm has reportedly ten-folded its New York office space over the past decade and has recently unveiled a new campus in Midtown.
Rizzo brings over 22 years of experience advising private equity sponsors. Harris Siskind, Global Head of the Transactions Practice Group, highlighted Rizzo's ability to connect clients with the firm's full range of services. "He gives private equity sponsor clients direct access to the full breadth of the firm—M&A, financing, tax, regulatory—and the seniority to bring it together on the deals that matter most," Siskind commented.
Rizzo's practice encompasses advising private equity sponsors and funds across the investment lifecycle, including leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, growth equity investments, and fundraising.
