IT service provider MCL Gruppe has acquired the VINTIN Group. The transaction creates a significant IT player for the mid-market, boasting over 420 employees and 12 locations.
IT service provider MCL Gruppe has completed the acquisition of VINTIN Group, headquartered in Sennfeld, Germany. This move aims to establish a leading IT service provider focused on medium-sized businesses, particularly in the healthcare and public sectors across the German-speaking region.
The integration expands MCL's service portfolio to encompass a comprehensive range of IT transformation capabilities. The combined entity will operate with five core competence clusters: Smart Networks, Cloud & Hybrid Datacenter, Cyber Security, Modern Workplace, and Data-driven Business Optimization. The enlarged group now employs over 420 professionals across 12 locations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Alexander Wolff, CEO of MCL Gruppe, stated that VINTIN represents a key component of the company's future development strategy. The combined expertise will enable them to provide clients with support throughout their IT transformation journeys, offering solutions in areas such as cloud and managed services.
The company's strategic investor, One Equity Partners (OEP), supports this growth initiative, viewing the combined entity as a new IT champion in the German-speaking market. VINTIN's founder, Michael Datzer, will remain involved in a consulting capacity after stepping down from his executive role.
