Médunik Canada Becomes Exclusive Distributor of INCRELEX® in Canada
Médunik Canada announced its appointment as the exclusive distributor of INCRELEX® (mecasermin) in Canada. The treatment supports children with a rare growth disorder.

Blainville, QC – Médunik Canada, a pharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases, has become the exclusive distributor of INCRELEX® (mecasermin) in Canada. This agreement ensures continued supply for Canadian patients affected by a rare growth disorder.
INCRELEX® is a recombinant human insulin-like growth factor-1 (rhIGF-1) therapy indicated for growth failure in children and adolescents aged 2 to 18 with confirmed severe primary insulin-like growth factor-1 deficiency (SPIGFD). SPIGFD is an ultra-rare endocrine disorder where the body cannot produce sufficient IGF-1, a hormone vital for normal childhood growth.
Médunik Canada, part of Duchesnay Pharmaceutical Group, will maintain the existing patient support program to ensure uninterrupted services for patients and caregivers. The company aims to enhance support for families undergoing treatment.
"Becoming the exclusive distributor of INCRELEX® in Canada is a natural extension of Médunik Canada's mission to improve the lives of patients with rare conditions," said Carla Létourneau, Director, Marketing Strategy, Médunik Canada. She highlighted the partnership with ESTEVE to ensure access and support.
ESTEVE, the previous distributor, partnered with Médunik Canada to facilitate the transition, reaffirming a commitment to patients with rare diseases.
