German medical device manufacturer medi GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its product offerings with adjustable compression devices under the circaid brand. These products are designed for patient-individual therapy of venous and lymphatic diseases.

The circaid garments serve as an alternative to traditional short-stretch and multi-layer bandage systems. Their unique capability lies in precisely setting, controlling, and re-adjusting compression ranges, enabling patients to actively participate in their therapy. They are particularly suitable for individuals who face challenges with conventional medical compression stockings.

medi highlights the circaid Built-In-Pressure System, which allows for adjustable, controllable, and instantly re-adjustable compression. This feature ensures consistent therapy and prevents the garment from sliding down. The product line caters to both phlebological and lymphatic disorders, offering specific solutions for different treatment phases.

The development of circaid products was inspired by the founder's desire to help his wife, who suffered from lymphedema. An engineer, he devised the first patented circaid leg garment, drawing inspiration from the giraffe's skin pattern to create an innovative compression system. medi also provides accessories to enhance the comfort and discretion of circaid product use.
