The drug company Medipost, which specializes in stem cell drugs, announced on Thursday, February 28, that it is pursuing new markets for its most successful product, which has already gained approval in South Korea and Russia.
Cartistem utilizes mesenchymal stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood and has demonstrated efficacy in clinical trials for improving knee osteoarthritis. The company is currently preparing additional regulatory submissions for various other markets.
