Meesho Discontinues CPO Role, Restructures Product Team

E-commerce major Meesho has eliminated the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO) and restructured its product leadership team, the company announced in a regulatory filing. Current CPO Prasanna Arunachalam will no longer hold a senior management designation but will remain with the company.

The company stated that the restructuring aims to strengthen accountability and ensure closer alignment of product strategy and execution with the long-term needs of each business. Product leaders previously reporting to the CPO will now report directly to their respective business heads.

Arunachalam joined Meesho in 2020 and was promoted to the C-suite in 2025. The company has indicated that it is finalizing Arunachalam's new role and confirmed he will remain part of Meesho's senior management team.

Meesho, which debuted on the stock exchange in December 2025, reported its first-quarter financial results. The company's net loss narrowed by 54.1% year-over-year to ₹132.8 crore, while operating revenue surged 48% to ₹3,707 crore.
