Meesho reports 68% decrease in second-quarter net loss
E-commerce platform Meesho narrowed its quarterly net loss to ₹132.5 crore in Q2 FY27, as revenue climbed 34% compared to the previous year.

Meesho recorded a net loss of ₹132.5 crore for the quarter ending in September, representing a 68% decrease from the ₹411.4 crore loss reported during the same period last year. The improvement in bottom-line performance follows a period of significant growth in operating revenue, which reached ₹4,131.6 crore—a 34% increase year-over-year.
Financial results show that the significant year-over-year reduction in losses was partly influenced by the absence of one-time charges that affected the previous year's financials. In Q2 FY26, the company recorded exceptional expenses tied to a business combination and a legal settlement with a vendor, alongside associated tax charges that did not recur in the current reporting period.
Despite the annual improvement, the company's loss remained flat compared to the ₹132.8 crore reported in the preceding June quarter. Total expenses for the company rose 24% to ₹4,382.3 crore, indicating that while revenue growth is outpacing previous levels, operating costs continue to trend upward as the e-commerce firm scales its operations.
