MeetKai Expands Sovereign AI to Six Countries Using NVIDIA
MeetKai is expanding its sovereign AI platform to six countries, leveraging NVIDIA's computing infrastructure. Rollouts begin in Brazil and Ukraine.
AI company MeetKai announced the expansion of its sovereign AI platform to six countries: Brazil, Ukraine, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Bangladesh, representing a combined population of over 700 million people.
In each nation, MeetKai's AI platform and locally trained models will operate on NVIDIA's accelerated computing. In Brazil, the company is partnering with SERPRO. Across Ukraine and the other five markets, VEON operators are the partners, starting with Ukraine's Kyivstar.
MeetKai builds its AI stack entirely on NVIDIA technology, from infrastructure to software. The company is establishing Ukraine's first national-scale AI factory, with initial capacity expected by 2027. The facility is designed to scale from 15 MW to 100 MW to accommodate growing demand.
Across VEON's five markets, serving over 150 million mobile customers, MeetKai will act as VEON's AI "lab-as-a-service." These initiatives include training local engineers to foster and retain AI expertise within each country.
In Brazil, MeetKai won SERPRO's public tender for the national sovereign AI platform. The company will deploy the platform and locally trained models on NVIDIA hardware, including a sovereign coding agent for secure workflows.
