Meijer Now Accepts evermore Cards for Medicare Customers

Meijer, a US Midwest-based retailer, announced on October 14, 2026, that it is now accepting evermore spend cards for over-the-counter (OTC) purchases. This integration allows eligible Medicare customers to more easily use their qualifying health plan benefits to buy approved health and wellness items.

The direct integration with evermore aims to simplify the purchasing process for members of participating Medicare plans. Customers can now use their benefits to acquire eligible OTC products and other plan-approved items directly at Meijer stores, enhancing convenience for health-conscious shoppers.

"At Meijer, we are committed to helping our customers take care of their health in a way that is convenient, affordable, and accessible," said Jackie Morse, VP of Pharmacy and Health at Meijer. "By accepting evermore cards for OTC, we are providing eligible customers with another simple way to utilize the benefits available through their health plans when purchasing the necessities, healthy foods, and wellness products they need."

Meijer, a family-owned retailer operating for over 90 years, runs more than 500 stores across the US Midwest. The company champions a "one-stop shop" experience and demonstrates a commitment to community by donating at least 6% of its profits annually.
