Retailer Meijer has opened a new 159,000-square-foot supercenter in Plymouth Township, Michigan.
Meijer, a Michigan-based retailer, opened a new 159,000-square-foot supercenter in Plymouth Township, Southeast Michigan, on September 30, 2026. The new store, located at 48025 Five Mile Road, marks the company's 130th location in Michigan.
The supercenter features an extensive fresh grocery selection, a full-service deli and meat department, and a comprehensive range of grocery items and general merchandise. It also includes a full-service pharmacy, along with departments for pets, babies, apparel, beauty care, floral, and garden centers. Meijer emphasizes its value proposition and "one-stop shopping" convenience.
The company continues to offer customer benefits through its mPerks rewards program, providing savings on fuel and purchases. The store also supports home delivery and pickup services, as well as a "Shop & Scan" feature to streamline the shopping experience.
In conjunction with the opening, Meijer donated $30,000 to three local charities: First Step, which supports survivors of violence; Miracle League of Plymouth, which provides sports opportunities for individuals with special needs; and the Plymouth-Canton Educational Foundation, which funds educational programs. Meijer is committed to supporting its communities and has donated over $100 million to its Midwest food bank partners since 2008 through its "Simply Give" program.
