Meiser SPA Resort Completes Expansion and Renovation
Germany's Meiser Vital Hotel has completed a two-year expansion and rebranding to become Meiser SPA Resort. The project included a new spa area and significant room and facility upgrades.
The Meiser Vital Hotel in Germany has officially expanded and rebranded as Meiser SPA Resort, concluding a two-year development program that began at the end of 2022.
Established in 2003 by the Meiser family โ Thomas and Armin Meiser with their wives Susan and Stefanie โ the resort aimed to bring the Alpine wellness experience to their home region. The property is noted for its fairytale-like exterior architecture, nicknamed "Cinderella Castle" by American guests, and an interior design featuring alpine lifestyle elements.
The expansion saw the completion of a new sauna world in December 2022, increasing the SPA area to over 2,000 square meters. Throughout 2023, initial hotel rooms were renovated in a "modern chic" style, and a new "Cocoon" relaxation room with additional loungers was opened. Further upgrades in 2024 included renovations to massage rooms and the wellness reception, as well as redesigns of the outdoor area, pool bar, and relaxation garden.
Officially classified as a resort, the Meiser SPA Resort is designed for extended stays, offering a comprehensive experience with weekly activity programs such as wine tastings and yoga. The recent developments position the hotel as one of the largest SPA destinations in Southern Germany.
