Chinese technology firm Meituan has officially released CatPaw, an AI Agent platform intended for enterprise applications. The platform provides ready-to-use AI intelligent workstations and capabilities for developing and hosting enterprise-grade agents. Meituan announced the platform's significant internal adoption, stating it currently supports 90,000 employees and facilitates 30,000 built agents across various business scenarios.
CatPaw offers both a dedicated mobile app and a PC client, with real-time task synchronization and seamless collaboration. The mobile version allows for on-the-go task initiation and progress monitoring, while the PC client focuses on deep local execution capabilities, including file operations and browser control. The platform's cloud-based mode ensures continuous 24/7 operation, unaffected by local device status or network connectivity, allowing long-running tasks to complete and deliver results.
The platform integrates Meituan's deep understanding of the local food and service sectors. This expertise covers aspects like store operations, review management, marketing conversion, and delivery logistics. CatPaw offers pre-built "experts" and "skills" designed for immediate use in diagnosing and optimizing store reviews, generating marketing copy, and planning promotional activities.
CatPaw is designed to autonomously plan and execute complex tasks within authorized parameters, including file manipulation and browser automation. It can also coordinate multiple specialized agents concurrently for cross-domain tasks, with isolated environments and visible progress tracking. Security features include isolated runtime environments, centralized credential management, and support for tiered permissions and private deployments. A unified management backend allows for centralized administration of team accounts, permissions, usage tracking, and cost control.
