MemorialCare has requested Fox News Digital correct an article that inaccurately identified Robert Acuna-Bagshaw as a current employee. Acuna-Bagshaw has not been employed by MemorialCare since July 2025.
Fountain Valley, Calif. – MemorialCare has requested that Fox News Digital correct an article published on July 13, 2026. The article incorrectly stated that Robert Acuna-Bagshaw was a current employee of MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.
According to MemorialCare, Mr. Acuna-Bagshaw has not been employed by the healthcare system since July 2025. MemorialCare has contacted the news outlet to request an update to the article that disassociates Mr. Acuna-Bagshaw from MemorialCare to ensure accuracy.
The healthcare system emphasized its commitment to ensuring accurate information is available to the public. Fox News Digital, and any other news organizations that may have republished the story, have been asked to make the necessary corrections.
MemorialCare is a non-profit, integrated healthcare system with over 200 care locations, including hospitals such as Saddleback Medical Center, Orange Coast Medical Center, and Long Beach Medical Center, along with specialized children's and women's hospitals.
