Menarini Group and Ryvu Therapeutics report Phase II clinical data for dapolsertib

Menarini Group and Ryvu Therapeutics have released preliminary data from the Phase II JASPIS-01 trial, evaluating the investigational drug dapolsertib. The results were presented at the 68th American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting in New Orleans, focusing on patients with relapsed or refractory aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL) who have exhausted standard treatment options.

The study cohort consisted of patients with significant treatment histories, with 53% having previously received CAR-T cell therapy and 60% treated with CD3×CD20 bispecific antibodies. Preliminary findings indicated clinical activity and a manageable safety profile, supporting the continued evaluation of the PIM/FLT3 inhibitor at the current dosage levels.

Menarini Group CEO Elcin Barker Ergun stated that the findings provide a basis for the ongoing clinical development of the drug. As patients with this specific diagnosis currently face limited therapeutic alternatives and poor clinical outcomes, the companies are prioritizing the investigation of dapolsertib as a potential secondary or tertiary line of intervention.
