Mengshi Auto Details X700 Positioning as City SUV
Mengshi Auto has unveiled its new X700 model, marking the brand's expansion into the mainstream family SUV market. The vehicle will continue its deep cooperation with Huawei for intelligent features.

Chinese automaker Mengshi Auto has provided details on the positioning of its new X700 model, signaling the brand's entry into the competitive mainstream family SUV segment. This launch aims to complete the brand's product matrix.
The X700 is part of Mengshi's new X-series, which features a unibody construction, distinguishing it from the brand's existing 917 and M817 models that utilize body-on-frame chassis for hardcore off-road capabilities. The X-series is intended to offer urban families a "light outdoor lifestyle experience."
With dimensions of 5035x1999x1910 mm and a wheelbase of 2920 mm, the X700 is classified as a standard mid-size SUV. It incorporates an 800V platform architecture and a plug-in hybrid system powered by a 68.1 kWh battery from CATL. Notably, the vehicle's roof is equipped with an 896-line LiDAR, indicating continued collaboration with Huawei on intelligent driving systems. The X700 is expected to support Huawei's Kunlun Smart Driving ADS 5 system. The design retains Mengshi's signature "fierce spirit" aesthetic, including its distinctive front grille and taillights, while integrating modern styling elements like a贯穿式 (through-type) headlight design to appeal to contemporary urban tastes.
