Mesa School of Business, an Indian educational institution, has raised ₹110 crore ($11.4 million) in a Series A funding round comprising both equity and debt. The capital infusion pegs the business school at a post-money valuation of ₹385 crore ($40 million), according to co-founder Ankit Agarwal.
The funds will be allocated to strengthening the school's leadership team, integrating artificial intelligence into its programs, deepening partnerships with startups, and launching new on-campus courses. Founded in 2023, Mesa offers full-time programs for early-career professionals, fresh graduates, and undergraduate students.
The school aims to address the talent gap within India's rapidly growing startup ecosystem. Unlike conventional business schools, Mesa employs startup founders, executives, and industry experts to design and deliver its curriculum, ensuring relevance and agility.
Mesa's program fees include ₹25.4 lakh for its one-year postgraduate program for experienced professionals, ₹15.4 lakh for the Forge program for fresh graduates, and ₹48 lakh for its four-year undergraduate program.
According to the school, its alumni have joined over 120 startups, with average salaries for experienced professionals reportedly ranging from ₹26-28 LPA. Mesa has also incubated over 50 student-led startups.
