Mesirow appoints Shawn Beber as Chief Executive Officer
Financial services firm Mesirow has named Shawn Beber as its new CEO. He succeeds Richard S. Price, who will remain with the firm as Executive Chairman.
Chicago-based financial services firm Mesirow has appointed Shawn Beber as its new Chief Executive Officer. The decision follows a unanimous vote by the firm's Board of Directors. Beber joins the firm from CIBC, where he previously served as President and CEO of CIBC Bank USA and held various leadership roles in risk management and corporate development.
Richard S. Price, who previously held the CEO position, will transition into the role of Executive Chairman. In this capacity, Price will focus on organizational strategy and civic engagement. The transition is intended to maintain the firm's long-term principles while introducing new leadership to manage its next phase of growth.
As of September 30, 2026, Mesirow reports $410.3 billion in assets under supervision. The company remains focused on expanding its market reach through a combination of strategic acquisitions and internal development of its advisory and capital markets businesses.
