Meta adds custom AI-driven 'Spaces' to Muse interface
Meta has introduced a feature called 'Spaces' to its Muse AI platform, enabling users to generate personalized, app-like dashboards through natural language prompts.

Meta is expanding the capabilities of its Muse AI assistant by allowing users to construct customized, interactive environments known as 'Spaces.' These digital hubs are designed to function as specialized interfaces for specific tasks, such as tracking music collections, managing academic schedules, or navigating shopping data.
To generate a Space, users provide descriptive prompts to the AI, which then builds the interface accordingly. The functionality relies on integrations with third-party platforms including Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and OpenTable. By connecting these services, Muse can autonomously retrieve and refresh data such as pricing updates or scheduling changes in the background.
This update signals Meta’s broader move toward integrating AI agents as central task-management tools. By allowing these Spaces to pull real-time data from disparate applications, Meta aims to transition Muse from a basic chatbot to a persistent, data-driven workspace. The move increases competition with existing productivity dashboards and AI-assisted workflow automation software.
