Meta allows Facebook users to customize feed algorithm with AI
Meta is launching the "Your Algorithm" feature on Facebook, enabling users to directly manage AI-driven content recommendations in their feeds and Reels.

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, has introduced a new feature called "Your Algorithm" to its platform. This tool allows users to directly influence the content displayed in their Facebook feeds and Reels by managing topics of interest, utilizing AI for tailored recommendations.
According to Meta, user-made adjustments to their preferences will be reflected in recommendations immediately. Users can indicate their interest or lack thereof in various topics by selecting "interested" or "not interested" options. Similar functionalities have previously been rolled out on Instagram and Threads.
The "Your Algorithm" feature provides Facebook users with the ability to add and manage specific topics they want to see more or less of. These customizations can be made directly within the feature or through "interested"/"not interested" buttons that may appear on individual posts.
With this update, Meta aims to enhance user experience by giving individuals greater control over their content consumption. The company is providing a more direct way for users to shape their algorithmic feeds, moving beyond passive consumption of automatically generated suggestions.
