Meta discounts refurbished Quest 3S headsets
Meta is offering certified refurbished Quest 3S VR headsets through its eBay storefront at a reduced price until November 8.
Meta has initiated a promotional period for certified refurbished Quest 3S headsets, available through its official eBay storefront. By applying a specific coupon code, customers can purchase the unit for approximately $256, a reduction from the standard retail price of $349.99. The offer is scheduled to conclude on November 8.
According to the manufacturer, each headset undergoes professional inspection and cleaning to ensure it meets 'like-new' standards. The units include essential accessories and are covered by a two-year warranty provided by Allstate. The Quest 3S serves as a mid-tier offering in Meta's hardware lineup, bridging the gap between its legacy models and the higher-end Quest 3.
The Quest 3S utilizes the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, enabling it to run the same software library as the flagship Quest 3 without requiring a PC or console. While the display optics and resolution are comparable to the older Quest 2, the device remains a standalone virtual reality solution aimed at capturing new segments of the XR market.
